Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant - Teluk Gong

It's already pass midnight, so Happy Birthday Joanne~! For those who didn't know, yesterday night (11th July) was one of our friend (KNSQ) bday. So we had suggested to makan at Coconut Flower Seafood Restaurant in Teluk Gong. As I want to make this a food only entry so I am gonna do the details of the night on another blog. So bare with me on this. : )
There were nine of us, so we had ordered 9 dishes of food. Sweet~!! First dish that came on the table was the Lala Bihun. It was OK la, not to say spectacular. But since we're all starving so we just finished the whole plate off within minutes. And we managed to ordered another smaller portion at the end of our meal. (Price : Rm 15.00 (L), RM 6 (S), Vege : RM 12.00)
Than came the Salted Chicken which CP recommend. Not bad but also not to say spectacular also. Maybe I am not into salted chicken. But we did finished it. So that counts for something I guess. (Price : RM 18.00)Next was the Butter Milk Mantis Prawn which MD and I ordered. What a disappointment. We thought that it's gonna be covered in cream sauce. And the portion was really small also. I mean the mantis prawn was so small and little. (Price : RM 16.00)We had ordered two type of crab that night, which are Mamite Crab (picture above) and also Kam Hiong Crab. The Mamite Crab just sweet and that was all. The taste of the mamite didn't managed to sip into the crab's meat, so it's a bit of a disappointment also. As for the Kam Hiong, it's spicy. That is all I can say, but it's better than the Mamite Crab as mentioned by the others. (Price : RM 28.00/each - for a KG each)This was supposed to be one of the highlight of the night but turned out to be a total flop. The soup was not that strong as there wasn't enough garlic and liquor in the soup. So it's really a disappointment also for the rest. As I a not into Kepah so this dish doesn't much appeal to me whether it's good or not. (Price : RM 16.00)And finally the second noodle of the night. The so-called Hokkien Mee. My gosh~! The noodle itself wasn't the usual thick noodle which we all eat. It's totally failed for me and the rest of the members. (Price : RM 10.00).
