So there were 11 of us and the time is 7.30pm. Surprisingly the one that we expect to be late was early and the one which is punctual was late. hahaha!!!! So we had ordered some satay to eat and also fried dumpling while waiting.
They had also served some steam roasted peanuts as starters. Nice!!! We finished the two plates. hehe~! We had ordered 2 sets of 5 pax set and also adding one of the pot with their famous Special Herbal Soup.
You can see from the picture that the soup consist of Kei Ci, Dong Qwai, Muk Yee, Cilantro, Ginger and also Chinese Rice Wine. For the details advantage of each ingredients, we can refer to the picture. And there is another picture showing the "correct" way to eat steamboat. hahaa!!! Yes! There is a SOP (standard operating procedure). Anyway, the set consists of the normal veges and fish balls.
They also had "live" prawns. Yes, the prawns is still jumping while it's on the plate and when we poured them down the pot!!! We had two fish and also some abalone slice. Oh ya ~!
We had Yee Sang also. But this time around the Salmon was all dried up and not fresh. So we just eat the whole lot without the Salmon. Wasted!!! They had gave us 2 pot one of the pot is added with the Special Herbal Soup while the other one is the standard herbal soup.
After a few round of prawns and also fish onto the Special Soup, the soup became so sweet and nice. We had too add so much soup in as we're sipping the soup really fast. Haha~!! The whole dinner only cost us around RM 35 per head including the satay and also drink and tax. Well it's cheap~! And also reasonable for me. It's something new and fresh. So for those who like Steamboat and wanted to try some other taste. Try this place out. (Rating : 3.8 out of 5.0)
